College Bound

We almost missed the awards banquet this year. Our trip to Lubbock took longer than we expected so it was a fast trip back to Texico. We counted ourselves lucky when we arrived in time for Cody to meet Charlie in the parking lot with his cloths, he got changed and in the auditorium just before they started reading off all the Senior awards. To our surprise the principle called Cody up to the stage "since he was here now" and gave him hisscholarship award. It should cover tuition to CCC for his entire Welding Certification!!

That's when I get to use the only 3 letter dirty word I know -

Crabs

This sign reminded me of our trip to South Padre Island a few years ago. The hotel we stayed in hosted crab races every evening and several of the local shops down there had huge hermit crab cages with hand painted shells. Batman, spongbob, flower power and thousands more to choose from. The trip was great eventhough we bout two crabs and never made it to the races, the real fun started when we got home and someone would ask if we had fun on our trip. Goose always had the same answer. 

"We went all the way to South Padre' and all I got was crabs"

Cody's 18th Birthday

This was one of two birthday gatherings to celebrate Cody's 18th Birthday this year and can you believe I ":forgot" to give him his Birthday spankins' anyone want to volunteer to help me rectify this issue?
